Mr. Farrell "Pitcher" (Question asker) and the "Umpire" (Final Ruling)
Student Teams: Boys versus Girls
We will play until we get through the Study Guide
Girls will "bat" first (answer questions first)
Batting order will be alphabetical for both Boys and Girls
"Batters" get 5 seconds to answer the question correctly INDIVIDUALLY
Each team gets 3 out per inning
If the batting team gets the question wrong the next "batter" for the other team can answer correctly for a "double play"
If the batting team already has two outs and a double play is not required, the same question will be asked to the other team as the lead-off question...
Each question answered correctly counts as a base hit...
IMPORTANT: If someone yells out of turn, gets out of their seat, or is overly disruptive that will count as one out against his/her team
IMPORTANT: If someone is repeatedly disruptive they will be ejected from the game and asked to sit in Miss Lotspeich's room for the remainder of class...
IMPORTANT: If we cannot handle the game we will stop and you will be required to fill out the Study Guide quietly...
